Eduardo Ostos G. is Partner at CAYPE Abogados, his practice consists of Intellectual Property Law, Trademarks, Copyright, Administrative and Constitutional Litigation, as well as Arbitration related to Intellectual Property. He has also experience advising clients on sports law and entertainment issues. He also has extensive experience in the registration of trademarks, commercial notices, trade names, utility models, industrial designs and obtaining patents, as well as the nullity, expiration and infringement proceedings before the Mexican Intellectual Property Institute (Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial, IMPI) and the National Copyright Institute (Instituto Nacional del Derecho de Autor, INDAUTOR). He also has practice in Administrative Litigation before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice and Judiciary of the Federation, as well as Constitutional trials before District Courts and Collegiate Circuit Courts.

Prior to joining CAYPE Abogados Eduardo has worked in different law firms in Mexico City, such as  Mijares Angoitia Cortés y Fuentes, S.C., Avalerroux, S.C. as managing partner of the litigation area of Intellectual Property and Gallastegui Armella PI Abogados as a partner in the Intellectual Property Area.

Education

He has a degree in law from Barra Nacional de Abogados, and a Postgraduate degree in Amparo Law (constitutional review) from the Universidad Panamericana. Additionally, he has a diploma in Labor Law taught by Ilustre y Nacional Colegio de Abogados de México. Currently, he is pursuing a master's degree in Labor Law from the Universidad Panamericana.
