Diego Medina is an associate whose practice is primarily focused on Banking and Finance Law, with additional experience in Corporate Law, mergers and acquisitions transactions, real estate transactions, and infrastructure projects.

Throughout his professional career, Diego has participated in the structuring and implementation of highly complex financings, both public and private, advising financial institutions, public entities, companies, investors, and rating agencies.

He also has experience in infrastructure projects, bidding processes, banking regulatory compliance, and anti-money laundering matters, having been involved in matters related to financial products and services in the banking sector.

In addition, Diego Medina has been recognized by The Legal 500 Latin America in the Banking and Finance practice, being distinguished as Rising Star in 2022 and Recommended Lawyer in 2024.

Education

He holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and is currently in the process of completing and obtaining his Master’s degree in Private Law at Escuela Libre de Derecho.
